SST
These are illustrations for the book ‘Democracy needs us’ in spring 2013. A book that addresses issues of democracy and human rights based on a multi religious perspective. In addition to cover art and chapter images, I even made icons used in the book. The mission was carried out in cooperation with the Gothenburg-based communication firm ILIL FORM.
THE CHURCH OF SWEDEN
I have been entrusted for a few years to do illustrations for the diocese of Uppsala within the Church of Sweden. The assignments have changed in character, ranging from heavier illustrations, action programs against sexual harassment, to more light-hearted illustrations for a confirmation party. The illustrations have been used on posters, pamphlets, action plans, cards and inspiration material for the church's own staff.
THE OPERA OF NORRLAND
Over three seasons, I’ve had the opportunity to illustrate the Norrland Opera Symphony Orchestra's concert program. The illustrations have been used in all external marketing such as posters, concert programs, website, game programs and flyers. The assignments has been to by listening to the symphony orchestra music and assume certain key values, self-explore and create one image in my head per piece of music and then turn that image into an illustration. This has, in a way, been a dream job for me, as I have had full artistic freedom and been able to express my own the feelings coming from listening to the music that the images should portray.
SCREAM AS LOUD AS YOU CAN
The assignment is a cooperation between traceinface and k-art.
APHORISM ILLUSTRATION
These images are collaboration with writer Mikis Mazarakis who wrote the aphorism texts which I then created illustrations to. It was fantastically inspiring and fun to illustrate these texts.
